The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Monday, Nov. 22, to Tuesday, Nov. 23.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
TUESDAY, NOV. 23
Disorderly Conduct, 10:50 p.m.
Anonymous caller reported two males fighting on the 500 block of America Ave. NW. Both were warned for their actions and released.
Suspicious, 10:03 p.m.
Caller thought they heard someone calling for help on the 1200 block of Taft Ave. NE. Noise was determined to be an animal.
Animal, 9:07 p.m.
Caller requested deer to be dispatched on the 1800 block of Chippewa Dr. NE. Officer dispatched wounded deer, then tracked down the hunter who shot the deer.
Accident, 6:47 p.m.
Report of a hit-and-run on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Victim did not get a plate or vehicle description. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
Warrant, 6:48 p.m.
Male placed under arrest on his warrant, additional charges filed on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 5:32 p.m.
Caller reported kids sledding towards highway on Highway 71 and Highway 2. Officers checked the area, unable to locate.
Civil, 9:07 a.m.
Adult female called about her boyfriend threatening to call the police concerning her using his truck. Female was advised that it was not a “threat” and being they live together and she has used the truck numerous times, there was nothing criminal about her using it.

DWI, 11:40 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 600 block of 2nd St. SE. Driver arrested.
Assault, 10:29 p.m.
Officers responded to a male with a possible firearm attempting to gain access into a residence on the 1000 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Male arrested on multiple charges.
Theft, 6:21 p.m.
Catalytic converter theft reported on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW.
Assault, 4:51 p.m.
Caller reported assault. One arrested on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW.
Theft, 2:42 p.m.
Theft of construction equipment reported on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Burglary, 11:05 a.m.
Theft of tools from residence being worked on on the 1000 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.
Burglary, 11:00 a.m.
Arrested one adult male for burglary, possessing controlled substance and theft from a vehicle on the 2800 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 10:14 a.m.
Tampering with a motor vehicle reported on the 1200 block of 30th St. NW.
Theft, 10:02 a.m.
Theft from a vehicle that occurred sometime during the night on the 300 block of 26th St. NW. Vehicle gone through, no damage to the vehicle.
Theft, 10:01 a.m.
Theft of a keg of beer off of the delivery truck on the 1200 block of Neilson Ave. SE.
Violations/Court Orders, 8:30 a.m.
Officer arrested a male party for an HRO violation on Park Ave. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 7:32 a.m.
Unknown male walked through a crowd of children and adults and made a statement about “shooting” on Ridgeway Ave. NW.

911, 10:37 p.m.
Intoxicated male calling 911 with incoherent stories of grand theft auto. Nothing matching the story was located by dispatch on Archery Rd. NW.
Theft, 5:36 p.m.
Report of a stolen vehicle on the 2100 block of Carmen Dr. NW.

Warrant, 10:33 p.m.
Subject of a warrant arrested on Timber Trail Dr.
Assist, 2:10 a.m.
Assist Red Lake with a removal on Irvine Ave. and Higgins Rd. NE. Male arrested.
