Kostrzewski named BSU’s associate dean of nursing

Dr. Diana Kostrzewski has joined Bemidji State University’s Department of Nursing as chief nurse administrator and associate dean of nursing.

Dr. Kostrzewski was previously the interim dean of the College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines at the University of North Dakota.

“Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Kostrzewski has gained leadership skills and program accreditation knowledge while working across a variety of academic settings,” said Dr. Jim White, interim dean of BSU’s College of Individual and Community Health.

“She brings a wealth of experience to the BSU nursing program.”

Kostrzewski will lead and manage BSU’s nursing program while maintaining the university’s reputation as one of the top nursing degree programs in Minnesota.

Prior to her 2019 interim appointment at UND, she had been a clinical associate professor and graduate program chair as a member of the college’s faculty since 2018.
