Grand Rapids woman killed in pedestrian crash

A Grand Rapids woman was killed in a pedestrian crash Saturday night.

According to a report from the state patrol, 22-year-old Kennedy Niska of Crosby was southbound on Highway 169 in Grand Rapids when he struck the pedestrian, 63-year-old Wanda Meinhardt.

Niska was not under the influence of alcohol, but it is not yet known if Meinhardt was under the influence.
