The Minnesota Department of Transportation is highlighting some of its upcoming road projects this summer.
MnDOT crews will work on Highway 71 north of Bemidji, which will involve a roundabout at the Anne Street intersection, a shift for Hannah Avenue to move further east away from the new roundabout, and seven other intersection improvements through Town Hall Road.
These intersection improvements will take place from Highway 197 through the end of the four-lane highway segment near the Glidden Road/Town Hall Road intersection.
North of Anne Street, MnDOT crews will construct reduced conflict intersections.
Also this season, crews will replace 13 culverts and add two right-turn lanes for the eastbound lane on Highway 1 near Redby.
Highway 2 between Fosston and Erskine and Highways 75 and 175 in Hallock will also see road construction this season.
