The Watermark Art Center is issuing a call for community members, student groups and clubs who are interested in native plants to help tend the Watermakr’s pollinator gardens this summer.
“Green thumbs” are not a requirement.
Weather permitting, the garden crew will meet twice a month throughout the summer from 4 to 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday from now through August.
Tasks include weeding, pruning, debris moval.
There may also be opportunities for dividing perennials and collecting seeds.
All knowledge levels are welcome with no registration necessary. Volunteers can drop in on the garden crew times at their convenience, but large groups should call ahead if possible.
