The Northwest Minnesota Foundation in Bemidji was recently awarded an $85,000 grant for child care access.
According to a release from Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, she and Economic Development commissioner Steve Grove announced the recipients late last week, of over $750,000 in grants to increase access to child care across the state.
The Northwest Minnesota Foundation will reportedly use the funds to help grow the capacity of existing child care providers or encourage the start up of new ones.
