The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, June 21.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Disturbing the Peace, 11:15 p.m.
Officer responded to a noise complaint on the 2500 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW near an apartment building. The source of the noise was found to be coming from a male singing karaoke through a speaker nearby. The male was advised to stop, as it was late at night, and he was disturbing residents nearby. He did, and no further actions were taken.
Fire, 7:26 p.m.
Officer responded to a fire on the 2300 block of Calihan Ave. NE. Yard fire was put out and inspected by Fire Department.
Civil, 6:39 p.m.
Ex-boyfriend has caller’s F150 and won’t return it. Caller does not want ex charged with theft, just wants F150 back. Added to roll call.
Suicide, 6:01 p.m.
Officer took report of a suicidal male with a firearm.
Burglary, 9:50 a.m.
Officer took a report of a possible burglary on the 700 block of 31st St. NW.
Suspicious, 9:58 a.m.
An officer checked on a suspicious male wheeling two bikes in an alley on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. No criminal activity was able to be proven.
Property Damage, 8:02 a.m.
Officer took a report of property damage to a fence caused by a City of Bemidji vehicle on the 500 block of 1st St. W.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Assist, 5:32 p.m.
Motorist assist on Cardinal Rd. and Grange Rd. NW. One male arrested for cancelled license-inimical to public safety and out-of-county felony warrant.
Accident, 4:46 p.m.
One male transported to the ER after a motorcycle accident on Highway 2 and Scribner Rd. NW. State patrol conducted the investigation.
