The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Bemidji police department

Suspicious, 11:36 p.m.

Report of a suspicious individual on the 900 block of 26th Street NW. Individual was not conducting any illegal activity and did not need assistance.

Property Damage, 11:24 p.m.

Property damage reported on America Avenue NW.

Disturbing the Peace, 11:03 p.m.

Male arrested for multiple charges and probation violation on America Court NW.

Suspicious, 10:39 p.m.

Unable to locate source of noise on the 2600 block of Minnesota Avenue NW.

Property Damage, 10:20 p.m.

Property damage reported on the 2100 block of 14th Street NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:49 p.m.

Officers responded to a remove one call but female caller told dispatch that male had left prior to officer arrival. As officers were clearing, the male left the residence on the 1400 block of Beltrami Avenue NW on his own.

Property Damage, 9:32 p.m.

Property damage reported on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.

Ordinance Violations, 9:17 p.m.

Male issued ordinance violation for drinking in public on the 300 block of Beltrami Avenue NW.

Assault, 9:01 p.m.

Assault reported on the 100 block of 3rd Street NW.

Assault, 8:16 p.m.

Officers investigated a domestic assault altercation on the 800 block of Grant Avenue SE. Determined to be verbal, no arrests made.

Assault, 7:36 p.m.

Passerby reported a possible fight on Bemidji Avenue and 10th Street NE. No fighting was located.

Disorderly Conduct, 5:20 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of an intoxicated male on the 200 block of America Avenue NW. The male left on his own.

Warrant, 4:55 p.m.

Arrested male for warrant on 30th Street NW and Ridgeway Avenue.

Welfare Check, 4:01 p.m.

Report of male slumped over in vehicle on the 1200 block of Minnesota Avenue NW. Upon arrival, male stated he was OK.

Theft, 12:02 p.m.

Shoplifting, citation issued, one woman arrested on a warrant on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:52 a.m.

Report of angry inmate released from jail. Officers later spoke with him.

Property Damage, 9:10 a.m.

Property damage to the right of way at Gemmel Avenue. One woman was cited.

Welfare Check, 1:56 a.m.

Welfare check on a male laying on the ground on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW. Male was intoxicated, taken to hospital by EMS.

Suspicious, 1:26 a.m.

Officers responded to a suspicious individual in a local store on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive.

DWI, 12:47 a.m.

Traffic stop. Adult male arrested for DWI. Passenger arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Assist, 10:11 p.m.

Deputy assisted the state patrol on a traffic stop on Highway 2 and Carr Lake Road SW. One juvenile was arrested.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:52 p.m.

Deputy located a reported reckless vehicle on Birchmont Beach Road in Turtle River. Found to be a driver needing directions.

Violations/Court Orders, 6:41 p.m.

Male arrested for domestic assault no contact order (DANCO).

Property Damage, 4:35 p.m.

Ongoing property damage reported on the 1400 block of Averi Circle NW.

Assault, 4:17 p.m.

Assault on Plantation Road in Cass Lake. One juvenile was arrested.

Dead Body, 3:58 p.m.

An elderly person passed.

Property Damage, 2:34 p.m.

Property damage to a mailbox on New Maple Ridge NE in Hines.

Accident, 2:01 p.m.

Citation for reckless driving to a 47-year-old woman. Vehicle crashed into a large wooden post on the 19600 Irvine Avenue NW.

Suspicious, 12:23 p.m.

Report of a suspicious person walking around neighbor’s property on Sunnyview Court. Deputies canceled in route, suspicious person was found to be neighbor’s son.

Assist, 8:29 a.m.

Assist state patrol with arrests at traffic stop on Adams Avenue and Hansen Court NW. Three were arrested.

Suspicious, 1:06 a.m.

Checked on vehicle on Mission Road SE in Cass Lake. Driver arrested for drug DWI and two passengers arrested for warrants.

Assist, 12:45 a.m.

Notification from Leech Lake Tribal Police of a fresh stolen vehicle. Deputies checked the area, vehicle located in Cass County.
