Bemidji Blotter for Tuesday, Aug. 30

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Aug. 30.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Fire, 8:10 p.m.

Officers responded to a vehicle on fire on the 1400 block of Miles Ave. SE. No injuries sustained.

911, 5:41 p.m.

Intoxicated male called 911 from the hospital demanding a ride out of town. The caller was told to phone a friend.

Disturbing the Peace, 4:00 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of two people yelling at each other. Upon arrival to the area of America Ave. NW and speaking to several outside, no one was found to be yelling.

Suspicious, 3:42 p.m.

Officers spoke to a caller about a male driver waving his hands at him. No crime reported.

Property Damage, 3:06 p.m.

Someone attempted to cut padlock off of construction trailer on the 600 block of 18th St. NW. Nothing missing, no access gained.

Weapons Offenses, 1:46 p.m.

Officer took a report of a possible weapons offense on 12th St. and Norton Ave. NW. Case was placed into roll call.

Assist, 10:45 a.m.

Assist task force on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. One arrested.

DWI, 12:23 a.m.

Traffic stop on Lake Ave. and Heather Ln. NE. Driver arrested.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Fire, 7:00 p.m.

Arson/homicide investigation on Allens Bay Dr. SE in Cass Lake.

Assault, 6:20 p.m.

Deputies responded to the report of a disorderly subject on Theater Ln. NW. Adult female arrested for domestic assault.
