The Highway 71 roundabout in Park Rapids is scheduled to open Thursday.
According to a release from MnDOT, crews have been constructing a roundabout on Highway 71 at the intersection of Hubbard County Roads 15 and 53.
The project also included grading and resurfacing north to Eighth Street, storm sewer replacement, and, with cooperation from the city of Park Rapids, resurfacing and replacement of frontage roads, sanitary sewer and water mains.
Gladen Construction of Laporte was awarded the project with their bid of over $4 million.
