9 a.m.–4 p.m. Tufted Titmouse Color Pencil Workshop
Meet in the Visitor Center.
Go from a beginner to WOW! This 2 day workshop, led by artist Rhonda Smith, blends demos with guided instruction to create photo realistic results in colored pencil. Whether you have little or no artistic ability this workshop will help you masterfully use this medium. Choosing the right substrate, basic design principals, different techniques in application, how to blend colored pencil.
If you have colored pencils, bring them along. Preferred is a set of 72 count Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. Other supplies: electric sharpener and electric eraser.
If you don’t have these supplies, there will be some available to use during class.

Registration is limited to 10 people. Sign up in advance by calling Lake Bemidji State Park at 218-308-2300.
Cost: $100 for the two-day workshop.
Refunds: Any cancelations must occur at least 48 hours in advance of the program so staff has time to contact individuals on the waiting list. Last minute cancelations will not receive a refund.
