The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, Nov. 10, through Tuesday, Nov. 15.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
TUESDAY, NOV. 15
Assault, 11:24 p.m.
Assault complaint on the 900 block of 26th St. NW. Charges referred to city attorney. One arrested.
Trespass, 10:22 p.m.
Owner reporting squatters camping at storage facility on the 400 block of Pioneer St. SE. Subjects left voluntarily when officer arrived.
Disorderly Conduct, 8:42 p.m.
Simple assault and removal of two parties on the 500 block of America Ave. nW. Female was arrested for a Beltrami warrant after medical clearance.
Burglary, 6:09 p.m.
Bicycle stolen from garage on the 1300 block of Bixby Ave. NE.
Welfare Check, 4:01 p.m.
An officer responded to a report of a disorderly female on Norton Ave. NW. The female was placed under arrest.
Pursuit, 3:10 p.m.
Male driver arrested for multiple offenses on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Irvine Ave. NW.
Traffic Stop, 10:29 a.m.
Officer conducted a traffic stop on 5th St. and Beltrami Ave. NW. One male arrested for multiple offenses.
Accident, 7:39 a.m.
Female driver hit a tree in her driveway on Amos Way NW. Juvenile was not buckled at the time and later transported to the hospital complaining of back pain.
911, 5:55 a.m.
Misdial trying to turn on the phone flashlight.
MONDAY, NOV. 14
Suspicious, 10:31 p.m.
Officers responded to a suspicious person screaming outside of an apartment building on the 1900 block of Delton Ave. NW. The individual left the area prior to arrival.
Family Matter-non criminal, 3:19 a.m.
Officer responded to the report of an intoxicated male who was angry with his girlfriend on Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Upon arrival, the male could not remember why he was mad at his girlfriend. No further assistance needed.
SUNDAY, NOV. 13
DWI, 10:19 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.
Traffic Stop, 5:51 p.m.
Male arrested on warrant, false name, driving and drug charges on the 400 block of 15th St. NW.
Suspicious, 2:11 p.m.
Report of suspicious individual entering apartment building on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. She was located and advised not to return.
Theft, 4:46 a.m.
Vehicle reported stolen and later located at a burglary on the 1200 block of Neilson Ave. SE. Adult male arrested for vehicle theft.
DWI, 1:54 a.m.
Traffic stop on 10th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.
SATURDAY, NOV. 12
Traffic Stop, 11:57 p.m.
Traffic stop on Paul Bunyan Dr. and 4th St. SE. Multiple individuals placed under arrest.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 9:39 p.m.
Vehicle complaint regarding vehicles conducting “burnouts” in a parking lot on the 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One 18-year-old cited.
Disorderly Conduct, 9:10 p.m.
Removed male and female from local restaurant on the 2500 block of Hannah Ave. NW. No issues.
Suspicious, 8:58 p.m.
Suspicious sound coming from an unknown area of the house on the 1600 block of Bixby Ave. NE. Officers checked the residence and advised RP to call if noise continues.
911, 8:43 p.m.
Officers responded to an apartment on the 2900 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW for a 911 call with screaming heard. Upon arrival no signs of distress were located. A child was reported to have had the phone. Subject identified.
Accident, 7:54 p.m.
Hit and run involving a power pole on Birchmont Dr. and 23rd St. NE.
Suspicious, 2:53 p.m.
Suspicious male running through private yards on the 900 block of 20th St. NW. Officers were unable to locate the male.
Dead Body, 11:58 a.m.
Death investigation on Irvine Ave. NW.
Assist, 11:08 a.m.
Assist subject re-enter her home after being locked outside by a child on the 400 block of Lincoln Ave. SE.
Disorderly Conduct, 9:13 a.m.
Request to remove subject from residence, causing a “fracas” on the 500 block of 15th St. NW. She left prior to officer arrival.
DWI, 3:21 a.m.
Officer located a vehicle that had driven into a field on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. The driver was placed under arrest for DWI.
Traffic Stop, 12:13 a.m.
Traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. and 13th St. NE. Male driver and male passenger arrested for multiple offenses.
FRIDAY, NOV. 11
Traffic Stop, 8:03 p.m.
Traffic stop on Paul Bunyan Dr. and 4th St. SE. Female driver issued citation. Male passenger arrested on warrant and issued a citation for false name.
Theft, 9:10 a.m.
Theft from unlocked vehicle on the 1100 block of Dewey Ave. NE.
DWI, 2:01 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 200 block of 4th St. NW. Driver arrested.
THURSDAY, NOV. 10
DWI, 11:27 p.m.
Single vehicle accident on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Male driver arrested for DWI.
Trespass, 8:33 p.m.
Adult female arrested on multiple outstanding warrants on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Suspicious, 8:20 p.m.
Suspicious male looking into construction equipment on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Unable to locate male. Found property collected for safekeeping.
Fire, 7:47 p.m.
Officers assisted the Bemidji Fire Department with a pile of smoldering garbage in a garage on the 500 block of 26th St. NW.
Fire, 5:04 p.m.
Apartment complex on the 900 block of 30th St. NW, fire alarm caused by someone smoking in the stairwell, reset by Bemidji Fire.
Theft, 4:32 p.m.
Theft of trailer reported on the 800 block of Bemidji Ave. N.
Disorderly Conduct, 3:33 p.m.
Disorderly male inside business on the 200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Adult male was arrested for possession of stolen property related to a Fargo case.
Welfare Check, 12:23 p.m.
Welfare check on adult female yelling and screaming inside apartment building on the 900 block of 30th ST. NW. Officers assisted female with the issue she had.
Suspicious, 11:41 a.m.
Remove an adult male from the dumpster on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Male removed and advised not to return.
Security Check, 1:59 a.m.
Warrant arrest on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Traffic Stop, 12:14 a.m.
Traffic stop on 2nd St. and Bemidji Ave. N. Multiple cited. Juvenile arrested.

DWI, 4:30 p.m.
Adult arrested for DWI on Eckles Rd. and Highway 2 NW. Results pending.
Traffic Stop, 3:46 p.m.
Adult arrested for obstruction during a traffic stop on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Property, 1:59 p.m.
Deputies advised of a recovered stolen vehicle on the 1400 block of Peaceful Meadow Ln. SE.

A female was arrested for DWI and several minor consumptions were issued on Irvine Ave. and Pearson Ln. NW.

Adult arrested for DWI, obstruction and driving status violation on Roosevelt Rd. and Dorado Ln. SE.
Fire, 4:41 p.m.
Deputies checked on a brush fire on the 10700 block of Long Lake Dr. NE.
Warrant, 4:05 p.m.
Adult male arrested for outstanding warrant on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW.
Warrant, 2:41 p.m.
A male was arrested for a warrant on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW.
Civil, 12:45 p.m.
Caller in Hines advised to report his stolen vehicle with his local law enforcement agency.

911 call on Birchmont Beach Rd. NE. Female wanted a ride into town.

Report of alarm on the 1900 block of 23rd St. SE. One male arrested.

Violations/Court Orders, 9:13 a.m.
A male was arrested for violating a harassment restraining order on Country Club Rd. NE.
FRIDAY, NOV. 11
Fire, 5:58 p.m.
Deputies responded to a possible structure fire on the 6100 block of Balsam Rd. NW. Deputies located a brush fire with an active burn permit.
Warrant, 2:51 p.m.
A male was arrested for a warrant on Highway 2.
