Bemidji man faces multiple charges

A Bemidji man is facing charges of second degree drug possession after law enforcement responded to a domestic violence call last Friday.

According to the criminal complaint, 39-year-old Keith Nathan Head is also charged with a felony domestic assault and a weapons offense.

The complaint states that on Friday, just after midnight, Bemidji Police Officers responded to the domestic on 30th Street, where a woman, Head’s reported girlfriend and domestic partner, reported she was assaulted and that her adult son was also assaulted by Head. Head’s vehicle was located at his mother’s residence, where he was also arrested.

While searching for the firearm that Head’s victims described, officers allegedly observed a large bag that weighed over 50 grams, testing positive for methamphetamine. Head has a significant criminal history that includes assaults, burglary and terroristic threats.
