A 44-year-old man appeared to have passed away in a fish house on Lake Bemidji over the weekend.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene after family members found the man unresponsive Sunday afternoon on the southwest corner of Lake Bemidji.
First responders pronounced the man dead and his body was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
No foul play is suspected and no additional information was released.
