The Northwest Minnesota Foundation is currently seeking members for the Landlord Engagement Advisory Committee.
According to a release, this group will establish procedures for the Landlord Risk Mitigation Fund and work on forming relationships with housing providers, local landlords, social service workers and young adults experiencing homelessness.
The fund that will be established will help mitigate risks to landlords, as an incentive to rent to tenants who may experience barriers to acquiring housing, such as credit scores, rental history, and other factors.
Applications are due April 3 with more information available online.
