AUDIO: Sanford Health Nurse Practitioner explains danger of air quality for sensitive groups

Sanford Health’s Nurse Practitioner Ashley Wavrin is warning about the dangers of air quality, as wildfire smoke comes to the area from north of the Canadian border.

Northern Minnesota is under an Orange Air Quality Index, meaning the air is considered unhealthy for those with respiratory or cardiovascular issues. 

The air quality alert is in effect through tomorrow morning.
