According to the criminal complaint, witnesses stated the victim was inside the camper and Quaderer was outside of it and they were arguing.

After witnesses smelled gasoline and saw Quaderer throw a burning piece of fabric towards the door of the camper, the suspect fled the scene.

The witnesses then attempted to remove an AC unit from a window to get the victim, Roy Lovelace, out of the camper after he was heard screaming that he couldn’t get out, but the fire quickly engulfed the structure.

Investigators were able to eventually extinguish the fire and located human remains inside the burned camper.

Quaderer was found hiding in Brooklyn Center the next day. She’ll make her next court appearance on Sept. 12.
