The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Monday, Jan. 3, through Wednesday, Jan. 5.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 5

Suspicious, 10:54 p.m.

Security check on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Officers located multiple individuals trespassing, two were arrested.

Assist, 2:30 p.m.

Assist subject with searching her recently recovered stolen vehicle for contraband on the 1100 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.

TUESDAY, JAN. 4

Theft, 6:24 p.m.

Adult female shoplifter arrested on a felony warrant on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Suspicious, 4:53 p.m.

Officer s responded to a kicked-in door at a residence on the 2800 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Officers cleared the house. The resident stated it appeared nothing was missing. No known suspects at this time.

Warrant, 1:29 a.m.

Request to remove an unwanted male knocking at caller’s door on the 400 block of Wilson Ave. SE. Subject arrested on confirmed Beltrami warrant. Nothing else needed.

DWI, 1:09 a.m.

Trafic stop on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Highway 71 NW. Driver arrested for DWI.

MONDAY, JAN. 3

DWI, 9:58 p.m.

Officers responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Calihan Ave. and 28th St. NE. Driver arrested for DWI.

Suspicious, 9:20 a.m.

Anonymous complaint in regards to trespass issues on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. One arrested on an out-of-county warrant, three citations issued.

DWI, 2:39 a.m.

Officer located stolen vehicle on 24th St. and Johanneson Ave. NW. Driver arrested.

Other, 1:17 a.m.

Caller thought someone was in her house on the 1100 block of Dewey Ave. NE. It was her roommate, no assistance needed.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 5

Accident, 1:39 p.m. 

TUESDAY, JAN. 4

Accident, 8:17 p.m.

Car rear-ended semi-truck on Highway 2 and Cardinal Rd. NW. Provided traffic control for MSP.

Theft, 11:35 a.m.

Deputies responded to a stolen vehicle report on the 15200 block of Buzzle Rd. NW in Shevlin. It was later learned that the vehicle was not stolen and it was in the shop being worked on.
