The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department responded to Tuesday, Dec. 28 through Wednesday, Dec. 29, and the incidents the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Monday, Dec. 27, through Wednesday, Dec. 29.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 29
Traffic Stop, 11:30 p.m.
Traffic stop on 14th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.
Warrant, 1:00 a.m.
Warrant arrest on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW.
TUESDAY, DEC. 28
Traffic Stop, 11:53 p.m.
Traffic enforcement on the 2500 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW, driver fled on foot and was arrested for multiple charges.
Accident, 11:32 p.m.
Caller reported her daughter was a victim of a hit-and-run on the 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Caller later advised that her daughter wasn’t being completely honest.
Suspicious, 10:56 p.m.
Report of 10 loud bangs in the area of the 900 block of Washington Ave. S. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
Theft, 9:29 p.m.
Caller reported someone stole a shovel off his porch on the 1200 block of 2nd St. SE. Shovel returned prior to officer arrival, appears neighbor borrowed it.
Accident, 7:19 p.m.
Two-vehicle crash on Irvine Ave. and 29th St. NW. One driver arrested.
Civil, 5:45 p.m.
Caller reported neighbor plowed snow in their driveway on the 1200 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Officer checked, no driveways were plowed in this area.
Suspicious, 2:08 p.m.
Officer arrested a male for a domestic violence case on 30th St. NW.
Civil, 8:15 a.m.
Civil dispute over broken garage door opener and PlayStation remote on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Subjects advised of civil remedies and tenant separation.
Disorderly Conduct, 3:02 a.m.
Intoxicated female called to report she had been assaulted on the 1900 block of Delton Ave. NW. Upon contacting her, she stated she had only been yelled at and she got scared. No signs of injury were observed.

Welfare Check, 11:57 p.m.
Welfare check on Washington Ave. and Highway 2 SE. One arrested.
Fire, 7:02 a.m.
Reported on the 4700 block of Allens Bay Dr. SE in Cass Lake.
TUESDAY, DEC. 28
Traffic Stop, 6:07 p.m.
Female arrested for DWI on Big North Rd. and Adams Ave. NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 6:02 a.m.
Deputy saw trailer unhook from semi on Washington Ave. and Convenience Ln. SE. Driver hooked the trailer back up properly. Verbal warning to always do a tug test.
Suspicious, 1:23 a.m.
Some kids hanging out in the parking lot on the 2900 block of Division St. W.

One male arrested for domestic assault in Cass Lake.
