The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Monday, July 17, through Wednesday, July 19
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
WEDNESDAY, JULY 19
DWI, 11:41 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 900 block of Washington Ave. S. Adult male arrested for DWI.
Suspicious, 9:04 p.m.
Officer checked the area of 19th St. NW for the report of a loud boom. The source of the boom was not located.
Assist, 8:40 p.m.
Officer contacted the hospital in regards to possible child abuse, case was forwarded to Clearwater County where the assault occurred.
Traffic Stop, 8:06 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 400 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Driver arrested.
Burglary, 6:50 p.m.
Possible break-in by ex-boyfriend on 3rd St. SE.
Theft, 11:23 a.m.
Theft of bicycle saddle bags on 6th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW.
Property Damage, 7:43 a.m.
Fire extinguisher set off in Nymore ice rink warming house on the 400 block of Wilson Ave. SE.
Traffic Stop, 5:39 a.m.
Officer spoke with a driver and pedestrian about their mutually disagreeable behavior on Washington Ave. and Roosevelt Rd. SW.
Agency Assist, 12:21 a.m.
Assisted BCSO with a traffic stop on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. Two arrested.
TUESDAY, JULY 18
Assault, 11:30 p.m.
Domestic assault and DANCO violation reported on 3rd St. SE.
Welfare Check, 11:17 p.m.
Report of two males fighting on 3rd St. SE. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone.
Suspicious, 8:49 p.m.
Caller reported two subjects stealing from car at a repair lot on Middle School Dr. NW. The owner of the car was on scene retrieving some property.
Assault, 7:49 p.m.
Adult male arrested for domestic assault on Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
Suspicious, 7:03 p.m.
Caller reported seeing someone hiding in the neighbor’s yard on Ash Ave. NW. Male was located who said he was being chased. Male declined assistance and left on foot.
Disorderly Conduct, 9:57 a.m.
Officer took a report of eggs being thrown at a local residence on Richards Ave. SE. No damage reported to property.
Fire, 1:23 a.m.
Wooden pallet found on fire below Paul Bunyan Dr. S. bridge.
MONDAY, JULY 17
Found, 10:23 p.m.
Two possible stolen bikes located on 2nd St. and Lincoln Ave. SE and placed into evidence.
Assault, 10:13 p.m.
Disorderly conduct complaint on the 100 block of Central Ave. SE. One male was arrested for warrants.
Welfare Check, 8:43 p.m.
Welfare check on a small child walking alone on Ridgeway Ave. and Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Parents located and child was returned home.
Weapons Offenses, 11:31 a.m.
Sound of gunfire west of the reporting party’s location on the 6400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Checked area, unable to locate.
Assist, 9:23 a.m.
Assist and advise on the 1600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Reporting party was informed to get rid of abandoned items and to call if they see anyone “camping” in the area.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 19
Assault, 9:08 p.m.
Female arrested on Lumberjack Rd. NW in Puposky for interfering with a 911 call.
Burglary, 6:50 p.m.
Reported on the 1900 block of 3rd St. SE.
Other, 6:48 p.m.
Male reporting a case of mistaken identity by a government agency.
Assist, 5:06 p.m.
One arrested on Roosevelt Rd. and Swenson Rd. SE.
Suspicious, 8:17 a.m.
Deputy checked the area of the 1700 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE for a loud banging noise.
Dead Body, 5:53 a.m.
Deputies responded to a medical in Bemidji involving an unresponsive baby.
Traffic Stop, 12:21 a.m.
Two passengers arrested for warrants on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S.
TUESDAY, JULY 18
Harassment, 3:58 p.m.
Roommate advised to stop harassing roommate and touching her property on Shetland Ln. NW.
Welfare Check, 3:51 p.m.
A female was arrested for domestic assault on Adelia Dr. SE.
Assault, 3:23 p.m.
Adult domestic on Augusta Dr. NE. Female arrested for assault and other charges.
MONDAY, JULY 17
Assault, 11:51 p.m.
Male arrested for warrants and fleeing on foot on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW. Citation issued.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:43 p.m.
Deputies responded to an impaired driver complaint on Boorman Rd. and Clearline Rd. NW in Solway. The subject was located and arrested in Clearwater County.
Accident, 6:08 p.m.
Deputies responded to a motorcycle accident on N Plantagenet Rd. SW and Monroe Ave. SW.
Theft, 4:21 p.m.
Deputies received a report of stolen guns on the 7200 block of Sunset Way NW.
Dead Body, 11:39 a.m.
Deputies responded to a complaint of an unresponsive adult male in Bemidji.
Assault, 11:15 a.m.
Male arrested for domestic assault and interfering with a 911 call on Augusta Dr. NE.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 2:32 a.m.
Report of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway on 23rd St. and Edgewood Dr. SE. Driver arrested for DWI.
