BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Weapons Offenses, 10:37 p.m.

Officer responded to an accidental discharge from a handgun on the 800 block of Grant Ave. SE.

Security Check, 6:29 p.m.

Concerned citizen reporting unsanitary/unsafe conditions at a vacant house on the 200 block of Gemmel Ave. SW. Building inspector will be notified.

Security Check, 3:05 p.m.

Caller requested extra patrol on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW due to young kids looking in apartment windows. Officer patrolled area, no children present.

Burglary, 9:23 a.m.

Burglary report on the 4000 block of Railroad St. SW.

Burglary, 7:57 a.m.

Reported on the 700 block of Mahnomen Dr. SE.

Suspicious, 12:27 a.m.

Officer checked on a suspicious vehicle in a business lot after hours on the 3400 block of Laurel Dr. NW. Male was taking a break from his pregnant wife.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Animal, 8:22 p.m.

Citation for animal abuse issued on the 3300 block of Windy Hill Ln. SW.

Weapons Offenses, 5:29 p.m.

Male was transported to Sanford hospital for a 72-hour hold from Pinewood.

Suspicious, 4:20 p.m.

Welfare check on pedestrian on 15th St. and Adams Ave. NW. One arrested for outstanding warrant.

Suspicious, 10:46 a.m.

Suspicious vehicle on the 17900 block of Shorewood Ct. NW turned out to be a turkey hunter.

Burglary, 8:40 a.m.

Apparent burglary reported on the 10300 block of Knappen Hill Rd. NE.
