The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Monday, March 28.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Suspicious, 10:34 p.m.

Officer stopped a bicyclist on Lake Ave. and 3rd St. SE for riding with no light. Male arrested on a local warrant.

Suspicious, 8:17 p.m.

Report of a suspicious person yelling in a residential area on the 500 block of 21st St. NW. Subject unable to be located.

Warrant, 11:50 a.m.

One arrested on the 900 block of 20th St. NW.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Fire, 2:39 p.m.

DNR Forestry and Fire were conducting a controlled burn of slashing piles on state land on Highway 71 and Glidden Rd. NE. Unfounded complaint.

Assist, 2:28 p.m.

Caller upset that roommate smokes. Referred to landlord.

Weapons Offenses, 10:51 a.m.

Unable to locate source of loud bang/explosion on the 8100 block of Hillcrest Dr. NE.

Warrant, 7:55 a.m.

Two adults arrested for warrants without incident on the 22300 block of Sprucewood Ln. NE in Hines.

Traffic Stop, 12:32 a.m.

Traffic stop on Roosevelt Rd. and Dorado Ln. SE. Driver was cited for no license and no insurance. One female arrested for a Cass County warrant.
