The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, April 6.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Traffic Stop, 10:02 p.m.

One arrested on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Fire, 8:04 p.m.

Reported on the 500 block of Waterfront Way SW.

Traffic Stop, 7:53 p.m.

Traffic stop on 7th St. and Mississippi Ave. NW. Driver arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Accident, 6:52 p.m.

Report of a hit and run on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Ordinance Violations, 5:06 p.m.

Officer was notified of non-compliant use of the Bemidji National Guard building on the 1400 block of 23rd St. NW. Prior to contact, the Commander had taken the appropriate action. Nothing further was requested.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Suspicious, 9:48 p.m.

Deputy checked on a vehicle on the shoulder on the 4600 block of Becida Rd. SW. Was a young man counting his losses, as he had been eliminated in a NERF war.

Warrant, 3:27 p.m.

Deputy met with Cass County Deputy to take custody of a person with a Beltrami County felony warrant.

Traffic Stop, 1:26 p.m.

Traffic stop on Okerlund Rd. SE in Cass Lake. Traffic stop was for expired registration, driver arrested for local warrant.
