The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, Aug. 26.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Disorderly Conduct, 4:29 p.m.

An individual was arrested on a warrant on the 600 block of 3rd St. NW.

Fraud, 2:47 p.m.

Reporting party asked an officer to check if someone she is conversing with on a dating app is real. Officer advised that we cannot run a driver’s license for this type of inquiry. Officer advised RP to be cautious meeting new people online and how to safely date online.

Warrant, 9:28 a.m.

Search warrant executed at a residence on the 500 block of 11th St. NW. Male subject taken into custody.

Suspicious, 3:07 a.m.

Officers checked on a report of suspicious people on 1st St. E and Gould Ave. NE. One female was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

911, 1:40 a.m.

Officers arrested an adult male during a self turn-in for an outstanding warrant on the 1600 block of 5th St. NE.

Welfare Check, 1:18 a.m.

Officers checked on a suspicious male eating macaroni found in a dumpster on the 1200 block of 23rd St. NW. Male was advised of park hours and released.

Suspicious, 12:55 a.m.

A female was arrested on a warrant on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Ridgeway Ave. NW.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Weapons Offenses, 11:00 p.m.

Reported on the 900 block of Porcupine Rd. SE in Cass Lake.

DWI, 9:28 p.m.

Male arrested for second-degree DWI and DAR on Stais Country Ct. and Grange Rd. NW.

Animal, 3:27 p.m.

Answered questions regarding wasp nest removal via shotgun on the 1000 block of Birchmont Beach Rd. NE.

Agency Assist, 10:50 a.m.

Report of an assault on Northern Ave. NE. in Blackduck resulting in an arrest.

Assault, 5:11 a.m.

Male arrested for warrant, domestic assault, and interfering with a 911 call in Blackduck.

Suspicious, 1:19 a.m.

Suspicious activity on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW. One male arrested for possession of controlled substances. One female arrested for DWI and controlled substances possession.
