The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, July 1.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
DWI, 11:57 p.m.
Officers responded to the report of an individual passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. Subject placed under arrest for DWI.
Disorderly Conduct, 11:01 p.m.
Officer responded to a fireworks complaint on Bemidji Ave. and 12th St. NE. Officer unable to locate any fireworks being set off.
Accident, 10:35 p.m.
Officer responded to a traffic accident on the 2700 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Driver arrested for DWI.
Suspicious, 9:34 p.m.
Officer responded to a report of suspicious individuals on the 300 block of Park Ave. NW. One male arrested.
Assault, 8:01 p.m.
Officer advised of a physical fight occurring at the Water Carnival on the 1100 block of Event Center Dr. NE. One juvenile male cited for assault.
DWI, 7:52 p.m.
Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on 30th St. and Ridgeway Ave. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
Theft, 7:51 p.m.
Officer responded to theft of property from a vehicle on the 1100 block of Lake Blvd. NE. No suspect was located.
Disorderly Conduct, 2:44 p.m.
Request to remove subject from a store on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. He was ultimately issued a citation for theft and arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Theft, 11:31 a.m.
An officer responded to a theft report on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. One cited and arrested.
Suspicious, 9:43 a.m.
Caller reporting suspicious stains in her vehicle carpet on the 600 block of 3rd St. NW. Officer observed the stains and they appeared to be normal vehicle wear and tear. No action by officer.
DWI, 1:34 a.m.
Traffic stop on 19th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
DWI, 12:37 a.m.
Traffic stop on Lake Shore Dr. and Central Ave. NE. Adult male arrested for DWI.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Assist, 10:46 p.m.
State patrol arrested female for DWI at Washington Ave. and Carr Lake Rd. SE. No action for sheriff’s office.
Accident, 8:10 p.m.
Hit-and-run reported on the 7500 block of Bemidji Rd. NE.
Disorderly Conduct, 8:10 p.m.
Fireworks complaint on the 3700 block of Becida Rd. SW.
DWI, 5:55 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 600 block of Patriot Dr. NW. Driver arrested for drug DWI, and two passengers were arrested for warrants and fifth-degree controlled substance possession.
Suspicious, 2:11 p.m.
Attempted auto theft on the 28800 block of Heavenly Dr. NW. One arrested.
Warrant, 2:42 a.m.
Male arrested on a warrant on the 29300 block of US Highway 2.
