The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, May 5.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Suspicious, 10:45 p.m.

Report of gunshots on the 3900 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Officers identified that fireworks were being used in the area.

Disorderly Conduct, 3:24 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of fireworks in the area of Minnesota Ave. and 29th St. NW. Upon arrival, no signs of fireworks were located.

Disorderly Conduct, 2:23 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of fireworks on the 700 block of 15th St. NW. Upon arrival, no signs of fireworks were located.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Weapons Offenses, 8:51 p.m.

Report of popping noise on the 800 block of 18th St. SW. Area patrolled, unable to locate.

DWI, 1:58 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Male arrested for DWI.

Traffic Stop, 3:55 a.m.

Traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. N. Elderly driver taught how to operate tail lights.
