Bemidji Blotter for Tuesday, Dec. 7

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Assault, 9:37 p.m.

Officers responded to a domestic assault on 13th St. NW. Male arrested.

Assault, 9:26 p.m.

Adult male arrested for burglary and domestic assault on Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Welfare Check, 7:24 p.m.

Officer responded to yelling and screaming coming from a neighboring apartment on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Officers spoke with female who did not require assistance.

Suspicious, 4:36 p.m.

Caller reported suspicious male knocking on doors on the 2800 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Individual knocking was attempting to shovel driveways for money.

Family Matter-non criminal, 9:10 a.m.

Mother wanted law enforcement to force her child to get out of the car and go to school. She was advised that would not take place and the child agreed to go inside to school.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Fire, 2:49 p.m.

Deputies responded to a possible structure fire on the 100 block of Highway 2 W in Solway. It was determined by the fire department that a belt on the garage door opener had caused the problems and had been resolved upon deputies’ arrival.
