The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Welfare Check, 11:17 p.m.
Anonymous caller requested a welfare check on his neighbor on the 700 block of Shevlin Ave. SW due to a flickering porch light. Officer spoke to homeowner and confirmed they were fine.
DWI, 8:09 p.m.
Traffic stop on 4th St. and America Ave. NW. One arrested.
Welfare Check, 8:06 p.m.
Small child left outside on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Officers attempted to make contact with mother. Child was let back in before officers could make contact.
Disorderly Conduct, 7:27 p.m.
Officer responded to a department store on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW for the report of several people using profanity towards staff.
Disorderly Conduct, 4:42 p.m.
Officer responded to a removal on the 1200 block of 23rd St. NE. One male arrested for trespassing.
Warrant, 4:15 p.m.
DOC requested officers arrest probationer on a warrant on the 1000 block of Anne St. NW. Unable to make arrest due to medical condition of probationer.
Theft, 3:53 p.m.
Officer took a stolen vehicle report on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S.
Disorderly Conduct, 1:09 p.m.
Arrested one adult on an outstanding felony warrant on the 600 block of Anne St. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:42 p.m.
Male upset with his mother had jumped out of the vehicle and was in the roadway on 15th St. and Park Ave. NW. Male was told to walk on the sidewalk.
Medical, 11:54 a.m.
Officers responded to an overdose on the 1800 block of Conifer Ave. NW.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Dead Body, 7:30 p.m.
Deputies responded to a deceased adult female in Bemidji.
Assist, 4:31 p.m.
Two arrested on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Assault, 10:44 a.m.
A male subject was arrested for first-degree burglary on the 400 block of Archery Rd. NW.
