The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, June 20.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Suspicious, 11:16 p.m.
Suspicious females calling names to another female on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Unable to locate vehicle or people in the area.
Suspicious, 8:31 p.m.
Caller believed they heard three possible gun shots on Grott Ave. and Saint Onge Dr. NE. Officer searched the area but didn’t find anything suspicious.
Assault, 8:09 p.m.
Domestic assault complaint on Kay Ave. SE. An adult male was arrested on multiple charges.
Disorderly Conduct, 7:32 p.m.
Female juveniles being disorderly on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Cited and arrested.
Welfare Check, 6:26 p.m.
WElfare check on a male lying under a tree on the 1900 block of Bemidji Ave. N. The male needed no assistance and was just resting.
Theft, 6:15 p.m.
One arrested for theft and interfering with a 911 call on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 5:39 p.m.
Caller reported two adults acting inappropriately in public space on 1st St. and Mississippi Ave. SW. Verbal warning for disorderly conduct.
Suspicious, 2:45 p.m.
Officers took a report of a potential break-in at a local residence on Scott Ave. SE.
Disorderly Conduct, 1:03 p.m.
Arrest for false name and fleeing on the 2500 block of Hannah Ave. NW.
Assault, 10:36 a.m.
Juvenile reported being assaulted by two unknown subjects on the 1100 block of Mississippi Ave. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 7:46 a.m.
Officers assisted with the removal of two unwanted subjects on church grounds on the 700 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Animal, 6:13 a.m.
Bat in complainant’s residence on the 700 block of 14th St. NW. Complainant given contact information for local wildlife removal company.
Assault, 1:24 a.m.
Adult male arrested on multiple charges on 3rd St. SE.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Fire, 10:46 p.m.
Deputies responded to a car fire on Polaris Rd. and Gooseberry Trl. NW.
Agency Assist, 6:15 p.m.
Female stole the tip jar at New China and was arrested for interference with a 911 call on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Warrant, 1:22 a.m.
Warrant pick-up was declined as jail had no room.
Assist, 12:15 a.m.
Deputy assisted LLTP and Cass County SO with K9 search on Grant Utley Ave in Cass Lake. It was determined that an item was not thrown.
