The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 8:51 p.m.

Officer was informed of reckless driving in a local trailer park on Delton Avenue, upon arrival to the area unable to locate.

Assault, 8:21 p.m.

Officers responded to a domestic assault on Irvine Avenue. One female was arrested.

Welfare Check, 5:12 p.m.

Welfare check. Female wanted Officers to check on a male walking around possibly intoxicated on 3rd Street NW. Officers responded to the area where the male was last seen but were unable to locate. Complainant would not answer her phone and would yell “what do you want” at Officers when they tried talking with her for more information at her residence.

Civil, 2:38 p.m.

Subject wanted advice on what to do when renter allowed people with tents onto the property on Gemmel Avenue SW.

Accident, 2:25 p.m.

Two vehicle accident on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Drive, no injuries.

Fraud, 1:28 p.m.

Scammer pretending to be lawyer for victim’s grandson, states needs victim to send $7,000 bail money. Officer stopped victim from sending funds.

Property Damage, 12:56 p.m.

Report of property damage on the 4100 block of Pershing Avenue SE.

Accident, 12:06 p.m.

Hit and run accident on the 2400 block of Middle School Drive. Suspect vehicle left scene.

Suspicious, 10:28 a.m.

Report of sleeping items on the ground in the woods near a business on the 2200 block of Bemidji Avenue N. No ID information was found on the items. Complainant was advised.

Property Damage, 8:21 a.m.

Report of rock that was thrown though a window of a residence on the 5300 block of Irvine Avenue NW.

Theft, 7:13 a.m.

Theft from a motor vehicle on the 3200 block of Richards Avenue SE.

Suspicious, 3:35 a.m.

Officer observed a female with a warrant for her arrest exiting a parked vehicle on 7th Street SE and Pershing Avenue. Female was arrested.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Suspicious, 11:34 p.m.

Suspicious vehicle on Black Creek Road.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 5:47 p.m.

Report of a reckless vehicle on Becida Road. Vehicle arrived home while dispatch was airing call. No response by deputies.

Property Damage, 5:31 p.m.

Deputy received a damaged mailbox complaint on the 4300 block of 15th Street NW.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 4:26 p.m.

Report of a vehicle rummaged through on the 1100 block of Miles Avenue SE. Nothing missing and no damage.

Suspicious, 3:11 p.m.

Deputy check the antennas near Mill Street after it was reported that they appeared to be damaged. Antennas appeared to be having maintenance done as a crane was present.
