The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, April 26.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Alarm, 5:27 p.m.

Fire alarm on the 1100 block of Lake Blvd. NE. Officers responded to the area and located a fire alarm in a garbage bag. Batteries removed.

Financial Crimes, 5:00 p.m.

Report of a male attempting to pass a fraudulent check on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Male placed under arrest.

Animal, 3:03 p.m.

Multiple feral cats on property on the 700 block of 18th St. NW. Complainant will work privately with local rescue in regards to issue.

Violations/Court Orders, 9:20 a.m.

A juvenile female was arrested for HRO violation and trespassing on the 2900 block of Division St. W.

Burglary, 9:07 a.m.

Report of suspicious male on the 1200 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. He was arrested on a warrant.

Assist, 8:27 a.m.

Assist Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force with search warrant on the 700 block of 18th St. NW. One subject with outstanding warrant transported to jail without incident.

Medical, 2:51 a.m.

Possible drug overdose on the 2500 block of Itasca Loop NW. Patient transported to ER via Bemidji Ambulance.

Theft, 2:45 a.m.

Report of theft on the 1000 block of Bemidji Ave. N. One arrested.

DWI, 2:12 a.m.

Traffic stop on 3rd St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. One arrested.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Harassment, 6:08 p.m.

Deputies investigated a DANCO violation in Bemidji. An adult male was arrested.

Accident, 6:04 p.m.

Report of a single-vehicle crash on Mizpah Rd. and Flowing Well Rd. NE in Kelliher. Adult male arrested for DWI.

Medical, 4:18 p.m.

Adverse reaction to THC use in Turtle River.

Theft, 3:36 p.m.

Complaint of an alleged theft of a male 16-month-old pug dog from complainant’s property on Eckles Rd. NW.

Accident, 10:41 a.m.

Deputy took a report of a vehicle crash vs. a bear on Knutson Dam Rd. SE in Pennington.

Agency Assist, 8:28 a.m.

One adult male taken into custody on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle that was stolen out of Thief River Falls on April 25.
