The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Aug. 4.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

DWI, 10:45 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver arrested for DWI.

Trespass, 10:39 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of a suspicious person hiding in the bushes on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. Officer unable to locate anyone in the area.

Traffic Stop, 9:50 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Adult male arrested for a DANCO violation.

Medical, 4:32 p.m.

Drug overdose reported on the 1000 block of 7th St. SE.

Disorderly Conduct, 11:11 a.m.

Chronic inebriates in cemetery on the 1900 block of Bemidji Ave. N. They moved along.

Weapons Offenses, 12:30 a.m.

Caller reported several people banging on apartment doors/windows, also heard two gunshots or fireworks on the 600 block of Patriot Dr. NW. One juvenile arrested.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Traffic Stop, 9:34 p.m.

Traffic stop on Roosevelt Rd. and Mission Rd. SE in Cass Lake. Driver cited, passenger arrested for warrant.

Assist, 7:51 p.m.

Follow-up regarding a vehicle that was recovered during a pursuit. Vehicle was found to be an unreported stolen vehicle from Clearwater County. An additional charge for receiving stolen property was added to the male driver’s offenses.
