Bemidji Blotter for Wednesday, Dec. 4

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Parking, 11:37 p.m.

An abandoned vehicle with a dog in it was towed from the 400 block of 15th Street NW. The dog was brought to the pound.

Suspicious, 9:05 p.m.

Complaint of suspicious tracks in the snow on the 600 block of 28th Street NW. Tracks led to the electric meter, likely to be a meter reader.

Property Damage, 7:42 p.m.

Officers responded to a property damage complaint on the 300 block of Paul Bunyan Drive S. Adult male was arrested for DWI.

Suspicious, 9:55 a.m.

Extra patrol on the 2800 block of Beltrami Avenue NW. Possible drug activity in the area.

Suspicious, 2:08 a.m.

Officer checked on a male sleeping in a vehicle on 4th Street and Central Avenue SE. A marijuana pipe was located in the vehicle and disposed of at the police department. No further action taken.

Suspicious, 1:06 a.m.

Officer responded to the report of suspicious activity on the 1200 block of America Avenue NW. Officer spoke with the subjects who agreed to stay out of people’s yards.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Assault, 9:47 a.m.

Report of an assault on a school bus in Kelliher. Parents/Guardians wanted this case handled internally by the school and did not want criminal charges pursued.

Suspicious, 1:37 a.m.

Elderly female in the roadway. The female was transported by ambulance and her family was notified.
