The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Jan. 26.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft, 3:48 p.m.

Shoplifting on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Male arrested on an outstanding warrant and cited for theft and false name.

Suspicious, 3:41 a.m.

Caller heard what sounded like a gunshot on the 5500 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Officers checked the area and found nothing out of the ordinary. No other callers contacted dispatch.

Medical, 3:38 a.m.

Officers assisted a male after a drug overdose on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Subject transported to ER via Bemidji EMS.

Traffic Stop, 3:02 a.m.

Traffic stop for no lights on after dark on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Driver arrested on multiple charges.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DWI, 11:30 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 4700 block of Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake. Male arrested for fourth-degree DWI and DAR.

Hazards (dangerous), 10:34 a.m.

Utility pole on fire on the 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
