The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, March 2.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Disorderly Conduct, 10:11 p.m.
Female individual issued citation for public nuisance on the 500 block of America Ave. NW. One arrested.
Traffic Stop, 9:55 p.m.
Traffic stop on Irvine Ave. and Nordic Ave. NW. Driver placed under arrest.
Suspicious, 8:36 p.m.
Officers responded to the report of a suspicious flickering light at a residence on the 1600 block of Calihan Ave. NE. The residence was found to be secure and no further assistance was required.
Disorderly Conduct, 8:06 p.m.
Possible public consumption on the 600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Officer spoke with female individual who showed she was drinking iced tea.
Disorderly Conduct, 7:52 p.m.
Officer responded to a removal on the 1100 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Female subsequently arrested for assault.
Theft, 6:54 p.m.
Officer took a theft from a vehicle report on Beltrami Ave. and 3rd St. NW.
Assist, 11:56 a.m.
Bemidji Fire Department rescued adult male stuck in an elevator on the 500 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Cleared.
Theft, 10:07 a.m.
Theft of a trailer reported on the 900 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. No suspects located.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
DWI, 10:30 p.m.
Vehicle pulled out in front of a deputy almost causing a crash on Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Male arrested for fifth-degree drugs and third-degree drug DWI.
Agency Assist, 9:17 p.m.
Assist Hubbard County with warrant arrest on the 2500 block of Phoenix Loop NW.
DWI, 6:50 p.m.
Traffic stop on Boot Lake Rd. and Becida Rd. SW. Female arrested for no license and fourth-degree DWI. Male arrested for warrant.
Theft, 6:46 p.m.
Deputies took a report of a possible theft on the 19600 block of Sugar Maple Ln. NE.
