The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, March 31.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Animal, 6:51 p.m.

Officer took a report of an animal bite on Rako St. and Clausen Ave. SW. Canine was placed in animal control facility.

Theft, 6:11 p.m.

Reported theft from a vehicle on the 700 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Property Damage, 8:54 a.m.

Two tires slashed on a vehicle on 9th St. and America Ave. NW.

Welfare Check, 2:13 a.m.

Caller reported unknown adult female knocked on his door on the 1700 block of 3rd St. SE. Female had injuries consistent with car crash, refused to tell officers what happened, transported by EMS.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Dead Body, 9:08 p.m.

Deputies investigated a fatal apparent drug overdose in Bemidji. An adult female was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Disorderly Conduct, 7:11 p.m.

Disorderly conduct on the 22600 block of Power Dam Rd. NE. One arrested.

Suspicious, 6:51 p.m.

Report of a suspicious smashed up vehicle on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW.

DWI, 10:44 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 4000 block of Grange Rd. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI, DAR and a warrant.
