Bemidji Blotter for Wednesday, Sept. 7

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Fire, 9:43 p.m.

Officer responded to the report of a log exploding in a campfire on the 8100 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Handled by the Bemidji Fire Department.

Disorderly Conduct, 8:40 p.m.

Officers dispatched to park on the 1100 block of Mississippi Ave. NW after report of possible fighting. Upon arrival no fighting was located, however, driver warned for driving into the park.

Theft, 5:09 p.m.

Officer took the report of a theft from a vehicle on the 1200 block of 23rd St. NW.

Theft, 9:19 a.m.

Report of merchandise theft from a vehicle on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. No subjects located.

Warrant, 7:26 a.m.

Self-turn-in of a warrant.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DWI, 8:37 p.m.

Traffic stop on Lake Ave. and Mill St. NE. Adult arrested for drug DWI.

Violations/Court ORders, 10:08 a.m.

Deputies responded to a DANCO violation in Bemidji. One adult female arrested for DANCO violation/fleeing on foot.

DWI, 1:24 a.m.

Adult arrested for DWI and felony drugs on Mississippi Ave. and 12th St. NW.
