The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Sept. 8.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft, 6:36 p.m.

Officers responded to the report of an uncooperative shoplifter at a local business on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. During the course of the investigation, the adult female was placed under arrest for numerous violations.

Accident, 1:10 p.m.

One arrested on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Other, 11:02 p.m.

Pilot observed laser pointer in cockpit over Cass Lake.

Assist, 10:39 p.m.

Adult subject in possession of purported controlled substance on the 10200 block of Highway 89 in Red Lake. Second adult arrested on out-of-county warrant.

Assault, 1:00 p.m.

One arrested for DANCO violation on Three Culverts Rd. NE in Hines.

911, 12:48 a.m.

Citation issued for making fictitious 911 calls on the 1000 block of Thomas Rd. SW.
