The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Accident, 11:43 p.m.

Report of a possible hit and run on the 1800 block of Norton Avenue NW. An adult female was arrested for DWI.

Suspicious, 10:02 p.m.

Caller reported a suspicious male looking through car windows on the 800 block of Mississippi Avenue NW. Male was located in his own vehicle.

Hazards, 5:47 p.m.

Officers responded to a complaint of a propane smell on Power Dam Road and Lake Avenue NE. Officers arrived and did not smell any propane.

Financial Crimes, 1:35 p.m.

Theft from vehicle and check forgery complaint from the 1000 block of Roosevelt Road SE.

Drugs, 11:47 a.m.

Report of a found syringe on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Avenue NW. Officer disposed of the syringe by placing it in a sharps container.

Sex Crimes, 10:17 a.m.

Mandated first reporter investigation.

Suspicious, 8:00 a.m.

Suspicious activity reported on the 900 block of Mississippi Avenue NW.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Warrant, 9:44 p.m.

Male party arrested on a warrant on Highway 2 and Clearline Road NW in Solway.

Suspicious, 7:00 p.m.

Open door at a residence. Determined to be caused by a family pet. Residence was secured and owners notified.

Violations/Court Orders, 6:32 p.m.

Male arrested for violating a Danger Assessment-No Contact Order (DANCO).

Warrant, 5:56 p.m.

Female arrested on a Beltrami County Warrant on Highway 2.

Theft, 2:33 p.m.

Theft of flags from flag pole in Hines.

Assault, 9:46 a.m.

Assault investigation on Cass River Road SE in Pennington led to DANCO violation and warrant arrests.

Animal, 7:54 a.m.

Possible injured eagle on Birchmont Beach Road and Pincherry Road NE. Unable to locate.
