The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Assist, 9:08 p.m.

Officers responded to a call of a motorist assist on the 1000 block of 30th St. NW. The driver was arrested on a warrant and DWI.

Traffic Stop, 9:06 p.m.

Traffic stop on Delton Ave. and 28th St. NW. Driver arrested on warrants.

Assist, 2:08 a.m.

Officer assisted a parent with making their 11-year-old go to bed, who had initially refused to go to bed, at 2 a.m.

Suspicious, 1:59 a.m.

Officer spoke to a male walking in the snowbank behind a closed business on Hannah Ave. and 30th St. NW. Subject was advised not to cut through properties and stay on the sidewalk.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Traffic Stop, 9:06 p.m.

Traffic stop on Lake Ave. and Mill St. NE. Driver arrested for DWI.

Accident, 5:30 p.m.

Report of a hit and run by a school bus on the 5800 block of Scribner Rd. NW. Pending.

Agency Assist, 3:07 a.m.

Deputies assisted Bemidji Police Officer on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW with a possible assault victim.

Traffic Stop, 12:52 a.m.

Traffic stop on Naylor Dr. and Railroad St. SE for suspicious behavior and equipment violation. Driver arrested for 2nd degree DWI.
