The Bemidji Community Food Shelf announced they will reopen their building next Monday, Oct. 5.
According to a release, masks and social distancing is required and the Food Shelf’s hours will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Customers can park in the north lot, take a number from a dispenser and wait in their vehicles until their number appears on the electronic display.
Only one person per household will be admitted with the exception of small children too young to remain alone in the vehicle.
Customers will receive a prepacked box, and will have choices of frozen and refrigerated items, baked goods, and produce.
Those that take the bus should call ahead to make an appointment at 218- 444-6580.
