Bemidji Council to set next year’s budget and levy in final meeting of 2021

The final Bemidji City Council meeting of the year is Monday. The city is anticipated to set a final levy and budget for 2022, which was preliminarily set to an 8.5 percent levy increase in September.

The council will also consider a separate budget for the Sanford Center for the next year.

Other business includes the Highway 197 MnDOT project, discussing a meeting with Northern Township on the proposed annexation of Ruttger’s Birchmont Lodge, and approving a feasibility report for next year’s street renewal project.
