Bemidji man arrested after 100 guns, 10 ounces of meth seized

BEMIDJI– One man was arrested following a recent drug bust by the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force.

According to a release, agents along with deputies from the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on the 4,000 block of Division Street in Bemidji. Over ten ounces of methamphetamine was seized, along with over 100 guns and $5,000 in cash.

Stolen property from numerous nearby counties was also recovered.

Fifty-one-year-old Jay Porter was taken into custody yesterday and is awaiting formal first degree drug sale charges.
