Bemidji nurse killed in Fargo crash

A Bemidji woman was killed in a Fargo-area crash one week ago.

Twenty-eight-year-old Saphyre Johnson was killed in a crash on June 28, where the other driver, who was allegedly under the influence, ran a red light.

Johnson, a licensed practical nurse who worked in the Beltrami County Jail, was in Fargo to take her Registered Nursing exam.

The other driver, 30-year-old Sebastijan Tahirovic, faces numerous charges including criminal vehicular homicide.

Johnson’s family has established a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral and memorial costs.
