Bemidji School Bus damaged in minor crash this morning

Bemidji Area Schools Superintendent Tim Lutz says a bus was damaged in a crash on the slippery roads this morning.

The bus contained Gene Dillon Elementary School and Bemidji Middle School students on their way to school when a car slid through an intersection and struck the bus.

Lutz says the car was at a low-rate of speed and the bus has minor damage.

All students were transferred to another bus for a trip to school and all will be screened by building Health Office staff.

The crash was at 7:45 a.m.
