Bemidji speaker to compete nationally

One Bemidji speaker will compete nationally.

Bemidji High School’s Amy Frenzel qualified for the National Speech and Debate Association’s National Tournament this June.

Amy earned her bid at the three-day Northern Lights National Qualifying event which concluded Saturday.

Amy competes in US Extemporaneous Speaking and Dramatic Interpretation on the Lumberjack Speech Team, and will focus on extemp speaking for the national competition.
