The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Jan. 13, through Monday, Jan. 16.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
MONDAY, JAN. 16
Medical, 9:20 p.m.
Officer responded to an overdose on the 700 block of Lake Ave. NE.
Theft, 4:02 p.m.
Officers received a call about a person stealing the cart mover from a local business on Hannah Ave. and 28th St. NW. Officers responded and determined that it was just an employee doing their job.
Burglary, 9:21 a.m.
Officers responded to a burglary of a hotel room on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Suspicious, 1:10 a.m.
Officers called for suspicious people locked in the laundry room on the 1900 block of Delton Ave. NW. Removed both and arrested one for drugs.
SUNDAY, JAN. 15
Welfare Check, 9:30 p.m.
Intoxicated juvenile locked out of apartment on Minnesota Ave. NW. Assisted into apartment and cited for minor consumption.
Security Check, 7:59 p.m.
Kids knocking on doors and running away on the 1100 block of Bemidji Ave. N. RP asked for extra patrols.
Medical, 6:25 p.m.
Officer responded to the report of an unconscious male in a store bathroom on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. The male was transported to the hospital by EMS.
Disorderly Conduct, 6:14 a.m.
Officer removed a male from the lobby of the LEC for indecently exposing his phallic object.
Suspicious, 2:05 a.m.
Extra security checks on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Arrested one female.
SATURDAY, JAN. 14
Assault, 10:06 p.m.
Male arrested for domestic assault on Phoenix Loop NW.
Theft, 4:34 p.m.
Theft of a firearm from a vehicle on the 2500 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.
Welfare Check, 11:56 a.m.
Mother calling on a report that her daughter had overdosed. Subject had not overdosed and was located in Red Lake.
Assist, 11:07 a.m.
Individuals with warrants were located on the 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Subjects arrested and custody transferred to issuing jurisdiction. No local charges.
Theft, 10:23 a.m.
Report of a stolen vehicle from Phoenix Loop area.
Violations/Court Orders, 9:13 a.m.
Officers arrested subject on a probation violation on the 1800 block of Conifer Ave. NW.
FRIDAY, JAN. 13
Burglary, 7:33 p.m.
Officers took a burglary report on the 200 block of Amos Way NW.
Accident, 4:41 p.m.
Officer responded to a snowmobile accident on the Highway 2 bypass. Upon arrival, MN State patrol and BCSO handled the call.
Disorderly Conduct, 4:20 p.m.
Officers made an arrest on a local felony warrant on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Assault, 12:50 p.m.
Officers responded to a possible assault on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Upon arrival the female was arrested.
DWI, 2:13 a.m.
Traffic stop on 3rd St. and Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Driver arrested for DWI.

MONDAY, JAN. 16
Suspicious, 8:17 a.m.
Civil issue involving an RV parked for several months on privately-owned business property on the 100 block of Convenience Ln. SE.
SUNDAY, JAN. 15
Suicide, 3:19 p.m.
Suicide attempt-medication overdose in Bemidji. One juvenile female transported by ambulance to Sanford Hospital.
Assist, 11:44 a.m.
Paul Bunyan Drug task Force search warrant of a residence on the 600 block of Main St. N in Blackduck. Charges for controlled substance sales and firearms were filed. Two arrested.
DWI, 3:59 a.m.
Suspicious vehicle driving on Lake Bemidji. Driver arrested for DWI.
SATURDAY, JAN. 14
DWI, 10:30 p.m.
Traffic stop for white light to the rear on Scenic Highway and Camp Cassaway Ct. SE in Cass Lake. Female driver arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance. Male passenger was arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
Assist, 9:12 p.m.
Male party arrested for controlled substance possession on Highway 1 and Highway 89.
Fire, 6:02 p.m.
Residential chimney fire started by wood stove on the 100 block of 4th St. NW in Kelliher. Accidental.
Fire, 2:46 p.m.
Deputies responded to a residential shop fire on the 36800 block of Corral Rd. NE in Kelliher.
Accident, 1:25 p.m.
Complaint of motor vehicle/pedestrian accident on Highway 71 and Winter Sumac Rd. NE. Male subject that was struck by the motor vehicle did not get injured and declined any medical attention.
FRIDAY, JAN. 13
DWI, 10:50 p.m.
Traffic stop on Carlson Ave. NW in Blackduck. Male driver arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance.
Warrant, 10:05 p.m.
Female arrested on warrant in Bagley.
Theft, 6:13 p.m.
Report of girlfriend stealing wallet on the 3400 block of State Park Rd. NE. No criminal charges pursued.
Hazards (dangerous), 9:57 a.m.
Report of a pickup pulling a fish house on the north end of Lake Bemidji breaking through the ice. No injuries were reported. Complainant indicated that the ice conditions north of Cameron Bar is unsafe for travel.
Medical, 4:38 a.m.
Report of a medical in Red Lake. CPR in progress. Male was pronounced deceased on scene.
