BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, JAN. 23
DWI, 10:39 p.m.
Traffic stop on Big North Rd. and Adams Ave. NW. Three people arrested.
Assault, 4:23 p.m.
Male arrested for domestic assault on Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Property Damage, 2:18 p.m.
Report of tires slashed on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Hazards (dangerous), 10:37 a.m.
Report of railroad crossing malfunction on Clausen Ave. and Irving Beach Dr. SW. No action taken by officers.
Security Check, 3:23 a.m.
Officers were performing a security check on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Officers arrested a female and male for active warrants.
DWI, 1:49 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 6900 block of Northwoods Access NE. Driver arrested for DWI.
Public Relations, 12:34 a.m.
Public relations foot patrol on the 300 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Officers placed an individual under arrest.
SATURDAY, JAN. 22
Fire, 5:05 p.m.
Officer responded to a report of a snowmobile on fire on Jefferson Ave. and Division St. W.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 4:30 p.m.
Officer checked on vehicle that had all windows knocked out. Driver fine, prior damage to his vehicle.
Sex Crimes, 5:21 a.m.
Male individual arrested for criminal sexual conduct on the 900 block of 30th St. NW.
DWI, 2:12 a.m.
Officer investigated a possible two-vehicle crash on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW with no injuries. The investigation lead to the arrest of an adult male for DWI.
DWI, 1:55 a.m.
Traffic stop on Beltrami Ave. and 15th St. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
FRIDAY, JAN. 21
Medical, 8:49 p.m.
Reported overdose on the 100 block of 12th St. NW.
Accident, 7:19 p.m.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Bemidji Ave. and 15th St. NW. One individual transported by EMS to the hospital for chest pain.
Disorderly Conduct, 1:17 p.m.
Reporting party on the 200 block of 10th St. NE reported that a drunk female defecated on his floor but he did not wish to pursue any charges. Officers attempted to locate female and her male companion for a welfare check but were unable to locate them.
DWI, 12:35 a.m.
Traffic stop on 15th St. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SUNDAY, JAN. 23
Pursuit, 10:21 p.m.
Vehicle pursuit on the 8700 block of Balsam Rd. NW. Male arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle, DAC-IPS, first-degree DWI, fifth-degree drugs and receiving stolen property.
Assist, 9:06 a.m.
Assist Hubbard County on Highway 2 SE. One arrested, no action taken by deputy.
DWI, 1:26 a.m.
Suspicious vehicle on Pearson Ln. and Irvine Ave. NW. Driver arrested for fourth-degree DWI and fifth-degree drugs.
SATURDAY, JAN. 22
Assist, 4:44 p.m.
Assist LLTPD with a stolen vehicle on the 6200 block of Upper Cass Frontage Rd. in Cass Lake. Unable to locate.
Animal, 12:51 p.m.
Attempt to locate dogs running at large on Windy Hill Ln.a nd Buchanan Ave. SW. A related abandoned vehicle in the ditch was towed at the owner’s expense.
Accident, 1:41 a.m.
Located a vehicle rolled over on the 2500 block of Great Divide Rd. NW in Puposky. Driver was arrested for DWI and refused a test.
Assault, 12:30 a.m.
Female arrested for domestic assault on Grant Creek Rd. NW.

DWI, 10:52 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Male arrested for fourth-degree DWI.
