The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Feb. 26, to Sunday, Feb. 28.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, FEB. 28
Disorderly Conduct, 7:20 p.m.
Two adult males rummaging through garbage dumpster on the 400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Subjects left voluntarily at employee’s request.
Suspicious, 11:09 a.m.
Officers fielded call in regards to individuals obtaining tattoos from private home. Caller advised no crimes were committed.
Disorderly Conduct, 8:06 a.m.
Report of male trespassing on the 600 block of America Ave. NW. Male was arrested for outstanding warrant.
DWI, 1:36 a.m.
Officer stopped a vehicle following a driving complaint on the 200 block Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver was arrested for DWI.
Fire, 12:28 a.m.
Caller reported his house was filling with smoke on the 4400 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. Officers and BFD located a possibly plugged up chimney. No fire was discovered.
SATURDAY, FEB. 27
Medical, 9:00 p.m.
Possible drug overdose on the 100 block of Anne St. NW.
Traffic Stop, 7:56 p.m.
Officer conducted a traffic stop on Grant Ave. and 5th St. SE. Two adults arrested for warrants.
Assist, 6:05 p.m.
Caller reported neighbor stuck in bedroom with broken door handle. Officer was able to open door.
Warrant, 1:29 p.m.
Officer gave a promise to appear for a local warrant on the 2300 block of Trustar Ave. NW.
DWI, 1:00 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW. Multiple people arrested on multiple charges.
FRIDAY, FEB. 26
DWI, 8:42 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Driver arrested for DWI.
Welfare Check, 7:15 p.m.
Welfare check on an intoxicated male on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Burglary, 6:14 p.m.
Officer responded to an attempted burglary on the 1000 block of Clausen Ave. SW.
Assault, 1:51 p.m.
Report of an assault on the 2400 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
Violations/Court Orders, 1:34 p.m.
Officer took a possible HRO violation on the 3000 block of Goldencrest Ct. NW. Resulted in an arrest.

Adult arrested for warrant on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.

Deputies assisted in locating a juvenile runaway and recovering a stolen vehicle on the 2100 block of Adams Ave. NW.
Suspicious, 5:04 a.m.
Adult arrested for warrant on Lake Ave. and Heather Ln. NE.

Accident, 9:31 p.m.
Deputies assisted MN state patrol on Highway 89 and Grange Rd. NW. One male arrested for DUI.
Pursuit, 7:42 p.m.
Report of a pursuit initiated by state patrol on Roosevelt Rd. and Mission Rd. SE in Cass Lake.
Burglary, 4:20 p.m.
Deputies responded to a burglary on the 9400 block of Wildasin Dr. NW.
Theft, 3:28 p.m.
Deputy took report of theft on the 1700 block of Adams Ave. NW.
Assist, 12:22 p.m.
Stolen trailer from Koochiching County recovered in Blackduck.
FRIDAY, FEB. 26
DWI, 10:01 p.m.
Report of a reckless vehicle on Irvine Ave. NW. Vehicle was located and driver arrested for DWI.
Warrant, 9:03 p.m.
Subject of warrant arrested on the 29300 block of US Highway 2.
Drugs, 7:46 p.m.
One male was arrested for possession of drugs and DWI on the 10200 block of Highway 89 in Red Lake.
Warrant, 2:35 p.m.
One arrested on Highway 89 and Spencer Rd. NW.
Traffic Stop, 2:32 p.m.
Adult arrested for DAC-IPS and warrants on Highway 2 and Adams Ave. NW.
DWI, 4:16 a.m.
Male and female arrested for DWI and other charges on the 1000 block of Wintergreen Ln. NE.
