BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, MAY 2

Assault, 7:50 p.m.

Adult female arrested for domestic assault on 2nd St. SE.

Suspicious, 6:51 p.m.

Suspicious looking trash found on the 2500 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. Officers disposed of it properly.

Assault, 3:21 p.m.

Assault with a vehicle on Bemidji Ave. and 4th St. NW.

Theft, 1:56 p.m.

Stolen bicycle on the 2000 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.

Disturbing the Peace, 3:57 a.m.

Officer responded to the report of individuals in an upstairs apartment walking too loudly. All was quiet upon arrival.

SATURDAY, MAY 1

Assault, 11:47 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of an assault on Minnesota Ave. NW. One arrested.

Suspicious, 10:34 p.m.

Officer responded to subjects on the roof of a business on the 2900 block of Division St. W. Subjects were located and the business was notified.

Theft, 7:46 p.m.

Female shoplifter cited, arrested for an outstanding warrant on the 900 block of Washington Ave. S. Male arrested for DANCO violation.

Welfare Check, 7:31 p.m.

Children thought to be unattended on the 200 block of Roosevelt Rd. SW. Officers found them with their uncle.

Accident, 2:40 p.m.

Boat crashed into fence on the 100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.

Theft, 1:30 p.m.

Stolen bike on the 1700 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.

Disorderly Conduct, 11:54 a.m.

Officer spoke with a female about her swearing on the side walk in front of a local business on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. No further actions taken.

Public Relations, 10:45 a.m.

Questions about an organized rally to be held in the City of Bemidji.

Disorderly Conduct, 10:27 a.m.

Officer escorted female from the business on the 300 block of Minnesota Ave. NW as she was screaming and yelling at people.

Assault, 12:18 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of a possible assault in progress on Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Adult male arrested for providing a false name and an outstanding warrant.

Disturbing the Peace, 12:13 a.m.

Officer responded to the report of individuals in an upstairs apartment walking too loudly. All was quiet upon arrival.

FRIDAY, APRIL 30

Theft, 11:44 p.m.

Officer took the report of the theft of a bicycle on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Trespass, 9:09 p.m.

Report of a person appearing to have slept ion a shed a week ago on the 1100 block of 4th St. SE.

Dead Body, 8:37 p.m.

Deceased female was reported at a residence on the 700 block of Pershing Ave. SE.

Fire, 8:16 p.m.

Officer checked on a burning pile on the 3500 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Home owner was warned for not using a campfire ring.

Disorderly Conduct, 2:48 p.m.

Two adult females frustrated with their current living arrangement were arguing on the 500 block of America Ave. NW. They settled down and left the area.

Suspicious, 12:23 p.m.

Caller reported garbage truck driver taking pictures at school on the 1700 block of America Ave. NW. Officer located subject and he was documenting why he did not pick up the dumpster as there were kids in the area.

Suspicious, 3:00 a.m.

Officers responded to suspicious activity on the 1600 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Male driver was arrested for DWI. Female was transported to ER.

Traffic Stop, 2:34 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 2000 block of Conifer Ave. NW. Multiple individuals placed under arrest.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SUNDAY, MAY 2

Welfare Check, 10:27 p.m.

Report of person dragging an item in the ditch on Great Divide Rd. and Cardinal Rd. NW. Area checked and no activity found.

DWI, 9:51 p.m.

Male arrested for 5th degree drugs, DWI and DAC IPS on the 3700 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE.

Fire, 7:20 p.m.

Reported on the 400 block of Whisperwood Ct. SW.

Fire, 3:34 p.m.

Residential fire on the 24800 block of Power Dam Rd. NE in Cass Lake.

Weapons Offenses, 3:19 p.m.

Reports of irresponsible shooting in the Buena Vista State Forest.

Burglary, 11:01 a.m.

Report of a residential burglary on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW.

Fire, 10:05 a.m.

House fire on the 7100 block of Balsam Rd. NW. Handled by Bemidji Fire.

SATURDAY, MAY 1

Fire, 8:02 p.m.

Report of a possible vehicle on fire traveling down the roadway on Willow Creek Rd. NE. Handled by Kelliher Fire Dept.

Theft, 7:35 a.m.

A female was arrested on numerous charges on the 2000 block of 3rd St. NE.

Warrant, 1:38 a.m.

Handled by Bemidji Police Dept. on the 29300 block of US Highway 2. One arrested.

FRIDAY, APRIL 30

ATV, 9:52 p.m.

Male party was arrested for 4th degree DWI, tested .10, and released to wife on Whiting Rd. and Aspen Ave. NW.

Theft, 9:15 p.m.

Report of vehicle theft on Roosevelt Rd. and Mission Rd. SE. Multiple attempts to contact complainant went unanswered.

Suspicious, 7:54 p.m.

Stolen vehicle recovered on the 3300 block of Windy Hill Ln. SW.

Assist, 4:21 p.m.

Assist task force with a traffic stop on Highway 2 SE. One arrested.

Fire, 12:17 p.m.

Deputies responded to a brush fire on the 24600 block of Bog Lake Way NW in Puposky.

Agency Assist, 3:00 a.m.

Assist Bemidji PD on traffic stop on the 1600 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
